Duncan has an impressive track record in the coaching industry. Having honed his expertise over the years, Duncan embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by establishing his own sports coaching franchise. However, he soon realized the challenges posed by administrative and HR-related tasks, prompting a change in his career path.
In his subsequent role as a PE lead at a primary school, Duncan gained valuable experience within a school setting. However, Duncan's passion for the business side of sports coaching remained which led him to explore new opportunities. It is this unique blend of coaching skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strive for excellence that makes Duncan the perfect addition to the uSports family!
What to Expect in Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, and Beyond
With Duncan as the driving force for uSports Welwyn, uSports is ready to go delivering a wide range of community & school sports coaching services. In line with our philosophy to providing positive sports experiences for young people, we aim to make a significant impact in the Welwyn Garden City community and beyond.
For nurseries in the area, Active Early Years sessions will be on offer, along with sport-specific
programs such as football, rugby, yoga, dance, and gym sessions. These early experiences can leave a lasting impression on children between 2 and 4 years old, and uSports is eager to work with more nurseries to provide sports sessions to nurseries and pre-schools to provide enrichment for young learners.
In primary schools, we will be able to deliver PE lessons, lunch clubs, after-school clubs & more starting after October Half Term. Duncan's expertise in a wide range of sports, including gymnastics and dance, will help local schools to enhance the overall quality of physical education in schools.
Local parents, there will be lots on offer for you too! uSports is pleased to announce that we already have a holiday camp available to book at Holwell Primary School in Welwyn for October Half Term. This holiday camp offers a fantastic opportunity for children to engage in fun and active sports activities during their break, all while under the expert guidance of our dedicated coaches. It's just one example of how uSports is committed to providing enriching experiences for young people, and we're thrilled to have it as part of our expanding range of services in the region.
Parents can also look forward to Toddler Football classes and Football Development Centres being developed in the Welwyn area over the coming months!
