PPA is a valuable time of any teacher's week.
Keep your class in safe hands with one of our experienced sports coaches.
With the ever growing pressure on teachers we all know how valuable the planning, preparation and assessment time can be in a primary school.
Some schools struggle to find a reliable, cost effective solution to their PPA cover but that's why we only work with committed, experienced and enthusiastic coaches that have a passion to deliver quality PPA cover.
Our sports educators are confident managing full classes whilst possessing the skills and qualifications required by your local authority. Educators will work with your children at the heart of the session whilst managing challenging behaviour effectively.
The above are examples of how we can run Active Maths sessions for your school but we are more than happy to to tailor and adapt to suit the needs of your school.

uSports can plan, deliver and assess PE in your secondary school. This can be especially beneficial for smaller schools where non-subject specialists are leading PE or in technology colleges and similar.

SPORTS AND LIFESTYLE WORKSHOPS
A fantastic way to provide pupils with an educational and engaging day of sport specific or healthy lifestyle focused workshops. These workshops can function as stand alone events or could be part of a broader drop-down or workshop day.

TEEN LEADERS
What better way to get your young people to begin working on their leadership skills than through sport? Our Teen Leaders programme will teach older pupils how to support younger peers in their sporting development. This could function as student led lunch or break time activities.

SUPPLY AND MATERNITY COVER
We can help with last minute or planned staff absence for long or short term absence. Our qualified coaches will be more than happy to help out! Our coaches can lead PE lessons, supervise a tutor group and fill in any other gaps which you need help with in the day.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR CLUBS

WHY CHOOSE uSPORTS?

It is becoming an all too common story in our news headlines that children are not active enough. With over a third of children in England classed as overweight by the time they leave school it is important that we are embedding a culture within our schools to get young people active. The number of children meeting the recommended amount of physical activity for healthy development and to maintain a healthy weight, which is 60 minutes a day, drops by 40% as they move through primary school.
uSports work with schools to improve the quality of PE, School Sports and Physical Activity for their pupils. Our coaches work closely with schools delivering tailored programmes of work to suit your school. uSports are confident that we can help your school use your PE and School Sport Premium effectively to help you set, work towards and reach your targets.
We have a proven record of working effectively with local schools to maximise sport in each individual setting, through the PE and Sport Premium Funding and through wider provisions.
With our CPD Programme we are able to upskill teachers to build confidence across their PE lessons. Whether it is helping your teachers with planning, session delivery or subject knowledge, our mentors will implement strategies to improve the quality of PE within your school. With our programme creating a sustainable impact within your school it is an effective use of your premium.
