How Does It Work?

Our alternative curriculum programme provides targeted support for SEND or vulnerable students to actively engage in their education through sport. Here's how it works:

  1. One-to-One Sessions: Our experienced coaches can work closely with a named pupil, delivering tailored sessions designed to engage and support their individual needs. We collaborate with your school to create a bespoke programme that addresses specific areas such as confidence, resilience, and social skills. Through personalised attention and guidance, we aim to empower students to overcome challenges and succeed academically and personally.

  2. Small Group Interventions: Our alternative curriculum extends to small group sessions targeting specific groups of children. These sessions focus on various skills, including team building, resilience, and the art of losing, among others. We offer a wide range of topics to enhance social interactions, emotional well-being, and personal development. These interventions can be short or long term, depending on the needs and goals of the students and the school.

By incorporating sport and physical activities into the alternative curriculum, we provide an engaging and dynamic learning environment for students. The practical nature of sports enables students to develop vital life skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and self-discipline.
