New Approach To Wraparound Care
Every school is different, and that is why our wraparound care provision is different too! At uSports, we offer three different solutions to wraparound care for primary schools
Option 1 - School Led, uSports Supported
This collaborative approach is designed for those schools who are happy to manage the organisation, bookings, food provision & equipment resourcing of their wraparound clubs but they need uSports to support with staffing those clubs.
uSports can provide coaches or playworkers to schools so that you don't have to worry about recruiting staff for your clubs. All staff who are sent to your setting will meet all the relevant qualification requirements so that you can rest easy that the club is in safe hands.
Option 2 - Traditional Wraparound Care

Option 3 - Sport Specific Wraparound Clubs
uSports can manage the full experience of wraparound provision in your school through sport specific wraparound clubs. These clubs will still meet all the requirements for a traditional wraparound club but will have an elevated focus on sport! Read on to find out more about these clubs...
Proactive, Not Passive
Make the most of out of hours school clubs with engaging sessions.
A sport specific club still provides children with care, breaks and a healthy snack after school but all while providing them with an engaging and proactive hours of fun at the end of the day.
Affordable & Convenient Childcare Solution
Providing a practical solution for both schools & parents.
So, how does it work?
Is food provided?
Yes, uSports will provide a healthy snack for children to eat at the club.
What space would you need access to?
We would need access to both an indoor and outdoor space for sport, we won't always need both spaces for the whole time so you can also use some of the space for other clubs as well.
How will parents pay?
We will have an online booking platform where parents can pay via card, childcare vouchers or tax free childcare.
Can parents book as and when?
Yes there will be a flexible booking system.
Will the club be Ofsted registered?
Yes, we will register the club with Ofsted and will follow all of the relevant guidelines.
Do we need to commit to a fixed term?
As there are costs involved in registering with Ofsted and to make sure parents have had time to build up their awareness of the club, we do require schools to commit to at least two years with a break clause to make sure everyone is happy.
Are there any costs for the school?
No! We will manage the financial side of things for you.
How would you engage children who do not like sport?
Our coaches are experienced in delivering PE lessons and other sports sessions to a wide range of children so are very accustomed to engaging less enthused children. For children who may struggle with sport our coaches can put adaptations in place to make the activities manageable.
