Head Sports Coaches

Summary Of The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Sports Coach to join our team and deliver fun, engaging and educational PE sessions to children in primary schools across England.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working with groups of up to 30 children and will have a passion for coaching and motivating young people to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality PE lessons that are fun, engaging and educational to primary school children
• Planning and preparing lesson plans and resources in advance
• Providing ongoing feedback and support to children to help them improve their skills and performance
• Working collaboratively with other coaches and school staff to ensure the smooth running of sessions
• Ensuring that all sessions are delivered in a safe and inclusive manner, following all relevant health and safety guidelines

• PE Lessons (Primary Schools & Some Secondary School Opportunities)

• 1:1 Football Coaching

Rate Of Pay

Contracted hours

Depending on experience, Head Sports Coaches are contracted to work anywhere between 20–30 hours per week. The advertised salary range takes into account this range of contracted hours.

Grade scale

All Head Sports Coaches will benefit from our in-house mentoring & training programme which will allow you to develop your experience and to progress up the uSports coaching grade scale.

Contracted Head Sports Coaches start at Grade 5, the first paid grade on the scale. Grades 1–4 do not apply to this role.

Location

We are recruiting for Head Sports Coaches in our Thames Valley Core Area which is based in Reading, Berkshire. You would operate in schools within a 20 mile radius of our central base.
