How do I add late pick up to my booking?

If you would like to add late pick up to some or all of the dates booked, you will need to follow the steps below:

1. Select if you would like to make a full week booking or single day(s) booking with or without uCover
2. Select the day(s) which you would like to add late pick up

How do I amend my booking?

You can make changes to your booking subject to our booking terms. All changes will need to be processed by the office team , please give us a call or email us to process any changes for you.

How and when do I pay?

There are a few different ways to pay for your booking and all of these can be processed via the online booking platform:

• Tax Free Childcare
 • Childcare Vouchers
 • Upfront card payments
 • Instalment payments

All payments must be completed before the first day of your activity.

Question 5

Can I use childcare vouchers to pay for my booking?

Yes! When you go to the checkout for your booking you will be asked how you want to pay. You will then find the relevant codes & references for Tax Free Childcare & Childcare Vouchers.

What if I need to make a change to my booking?

Accepted Answer

We appreciate things come up and plans need to change! You are able to make changes to bookings with 14 days notice before the activity start date for no charge. You can also cancel sessions within this period and a refund will be processed minus 30% of the cost of the session per day cancelled. If you want to make changes with less than 14 days notice, you can take out uCover which is an add on that allows you to make these same changes with less than 14 days notice. Without uCover, changes & cancellations are not possible with less than 14 days notice.

What if my child goes home sick on the day of the camp?

We are unable to process any refunds or move any bookings in the case that a child needs to leave camp early due to sickness. This is also the case if you have taken out uCover protection.

What is uCover?

Accepted Answer

uCover is an optional add-on which allows you to have more flexibility to make changes and cancellations to your bookings with less than 14 days notice (all bookings are eligible for these changes with more than 14 days notice). uCover must be selected when booking your activity and costs an additional £3 per day. uCover is available for both single day bookings and full week bookings.

See "What if I need to make a change to my booking?" in the FAQs for full details of the extra flexibility which uCover allows.

What time is drop off & pick up? Is there a late pick up?

Standard drop off is between 8am - 9.15am & pick up is between 5pm - 5.30pm. For an additional £5 per day you can add late pick up which will extend the day until 6pm.

Can my child sign themselves in/out of camp?

Accepted Answer

Yes if you have given consent via the booking platform for them to do so. If a child who has permission to walk home on their own requests to leave before the end of the day, parents will be contacted to confirm that this is okay before they are allowed to leave site.

Are your camps OFSTED registered?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our camps are OFSTED registered and will meet all requirements of this registration.

Question 12

What if my child is nervous about attending the camp?

Accepted Answer

Our staff are well accustomed to encouraging and supporting more nervous participants and will be on hand to welcome all children into the camp. We find that usually within a short period of time, children have settled in and will be busy getting stuck into the day. If your child is finding things difficult, the site manager will be able to give you a call to let you know and you are also welcome to ring our site managers for an update on how your child is getting on.

What do you do in bad weather?

We are a resilient bunch and we tend to find that even on the worst weather days there are breaks in the day which allow our outdoor activities to go ahead. If the weather doesn’t allow this, we have access to indoor space and a wide range of wet weather activities on hand should we need to use them.

What if I am running late for drop off or pick up?

If you are running late for drop off, your welcome to join us as soon as you can. The site managers contact number will be accessible should the sign in desk be closed so that they can come and welcome your child. If you are running late for pick up, there is a late pick up charge of £5 for every 10 minutes which will be applied to your booking at the point of collection.

Can someone else pick up my child other than me?

Yes, if they have the pick up pin which is on your account they will just need to give this to the site manager to collect your child. You can also let us know if there are any individuals who specifically cannot collect your child via the booking platform.

Question 16

What if my child becomes ill or is injured at the camp?

Accepted Answer

All sites have a paediatric first aider on site who will be able to help. In the case of minor injuries, an incident & accident form will be completed for you and you’ll be notified at collection. For any more significant injuries, you would always be contacted. In the case of sickness, wherever possible we will try to make your child comfortable but if we feel that they need to go home we will contact you.

What if my child is unable to attend due to sickness?

If you have taken out uCover, you can either move the day or you can request a refund. If you have not taken out uCover on your booking, we unfortunately are not able to process a refund or change for you.

Is lunch provided?

Accepted Answer

Lunch is not provided so please send your child in with a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water to drink. We will have facilities on site to refill water bottles. All of our holiday camps are nut free so please do not send in any food containing nuts.

Can siblings or friends be in the same group?

Yes, just speak to the site manager on the day to request that children are together.

What about swimming?

For venues with a swimming pool, swimming will be available as an activity during the day and you will be able to see this on your chosen camps timetable. For outdoor swimming pools, swimming will only be available in warmer months. When swimming is available, you will need to give consent for your child to take part in swimming sessions when you make your booking.

What should my child wear to the camp?

Clothing should be comfortable and appropriate for a variety of activities including sports. Please make sure to also send your child in with weather appropriate clothing.

What if my child has a medical condition or medication?

Accepted Answer

You will be able to share details of any medical conditions with us when you make your booking. Should we need any further information about a medical condition, our office team will be in contact.

If your child has medication which they will need to take during the day, you will need to fill in a permission to administer medication form and we can then administer this for you.

What if my child has SEND? Do you offer 1:1 support?

Our camps are inclusive and we welcome as many children as possible. In some cases, we may just need to ask a few questions to check that our camp will suit your child; if this is the case a member of the office team will give you a call to run through these quick questions.

When do HAF camps run?

Free HAF camp spaces are available only during Easter, Summer & Christmas holidays. HAF funding is not available during half terms.

What does my child need to bring?

Please send your child in wearing weather appropriate clothing. All children must wear trainers, it is optional for children to wear football boots when football is played on 3G or grass pitches.
 
Please send your child in with a water bottle for the day but there is no need to send any food as this will be provided for you through the HAF programme. You may wish to send your child in with a snack.

My child would need 1:1 support to attend - can they come to the camp?

If you think your child would be able to access the activities in the day with the help of 1:1 support then we ask you to get in contact with us to go through a few questions to make sure that the camp will be suitable for your child. If we think the camp will be a good fit for your child, we can then book a 1:1 coach for the day (subject to availability) at an additional cost either from yourself or through funding from the council subject to approval.

Will you provide lunch?

Yes! Your child will be provided with a healthy lunch every day that they attend the camp.

What if my child doesn't like the lunch options?

Accepted Answer

The menu on offer is varied, healthy and tasty! However, we know children may have foods that they dislike. We are unable to provide alternative meals for individual children but there are a range of items included in every meal and you are also welcome to send in more food for your child if you think they might not eat the options provided.

Will you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes! When you book on there will be an option to let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements. We will then pass this information onto our external food provider to ensure that your child gets the right meal.

Who can join the HAF camps for free?

Accepted Answer

Children who are eligible for pupil premium free school meals can book a HAF space for free. HAF eligibility is confirmed by your local council so get in touch with the relevant local authority or your child's school if you are unsure if your child is eligible. If you are unsure where to go, reach out to us and we can direct you to the relevant person at each local council!

If your child is not eligible for free school meals but you would like them to attend, our camps also have a paid option so there are opportunities for everyone to get involved!

Discounts will vary depending on your local area but discounts which are available include...

20% HAF Discount
We are offering a discount on all bookings for children who are eligible for HAF on top of their 24 free HAF days per year.
 
10% Sibling Discount
Book your first child on and receive a 10% discount for each additional child you book on. This will be applied automatically. This does not apply to friend or cousin bookings, children must be siblings.
 
Multi-Day Booking Discount
If you book for multiple days we offer a discounted rate at our camps.

10% Subscriber Discount
Discount for those who have a term time community subscription with uSports.

Question 34

Can my child have a packed lunch with nuts?

All of our holiday camps are nut free. We ask you to please ensure that you do not send your child in with a packed lunch which contains nuts.

If you would like your child to be in the same group as a friend or sibling, please make sure to let the site manager know on the day of the camp and they will be able to arrange this for you.

What does my child need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Your child is more than welcome to bring football boots but trainers are essential. We will provide all necessary equipment for all the sports and activities your child will take part in.

On football camps, children are required to bring and use shin pads. 
 
Weather appropriate clothing and items: hats, gloves, change of clothes for rainy days, suncream.
 
Food! A packed lunch, plenty of water and a few snacks. If your child is attending through a government funded HAF space, lunch will be provided free of charge but we still recommend your provide water and snacks.

What if the weather gets bad?

Our camps go ahead in all but the absolute worst weather! At our outdoor venues, we will have gazebos on site for shelter. At our school venues, we will have access to both indoor & outdoor spaces.
 
In the case of a day needing to be cancelled due to extreme weather, you will either be able to transfer your booking to another day or can hold your booking fee as a credit towards future bookings.

What time do I need to drop off/pick up my child?

5-12 Year Olds
Drop off is from 8:30am and pick up is at 3pm. The main camp day is 9am - 3pm. There is a presentation every day at 2:50pm where we give out prizes which parents are welcome to watch.

4 Year Olds
Drop off is from 8:30am and pick up is at 1pm. The main camp day is 9am - 1pm. Due to Ofsted regulations, 4 year olds are not able to attend for the full day until 3pm.

My child is 4, can they join the camp?

They have started school and are in Reception or Foundation

They book onto our shorter day camp until 1pm only at a reduced rate to follow Ofsted regulations.

Will you provide lunch?

No, please provide your child with a packed lunch, snack and a drinks bottle at all venues unless your child is attending on a government funded HAF space.

Yes, if you have given consent when making your booking on Enrolmy, our coaches are happy to help. Please send the appropriate factor with your child and we will also remind them throughout the day to apply it themselves.

All of our head coaches are First Aid trained. Any injuries will be reported on an accident form which will be sent to you at the end of the day. If there is an emergency you will be contacted immediately.

The central office team will pay venues, you would be responsible for confirming hire charges and ensuring they are within the agreed rates.

Payments will be made directly to uSports. Each partner will have their own separate account within the large uSports bank account.

Parties and 1:1s are not included on the example turnover chart, can I run these?

Yes! This would add even more to your turnover. 1:1s and parties have not been included in the calculations as they will account for a smaller percentage of your overall turnover.
