- 06We appreciate things come up and plans need to change! You are able to make changes to bookings with 14 days notice before the activity start date for no charge. You can also cancel sessions within this period and a refund will be processed minus 30% of the cost of the session per day cancelled. If you want to make changes with less than 14 days notice, you can take out uCover which is an add on that allows you to make these same changes with less than 14 days notice. Without uCover, changes & cancellations are not possible with less than 14 days notice. All changes and cancellations must be processed by the office, please contact us via phone or email to make any relevant changes for you: 0118 449 2641, info@u-sports.co.uk
- 07
- 08uCover is an optional add-on which allows you to have more flexibility to make changes and cancellations to your bookings with less than 14 days notice (all bookings are eligible for these changes with more than 14 days notice). uCover must be selected when booking your activity and costs an additional £3 per day. uCover is available for both single day bookings and full week bookings. See "What if I need to make a change to my booking?" in the FAQs for full details of the extra flexibility which uCover allows.

- 12Our staff are well accustomed to encouraging and supporting more nervous participants and will be on hand to welcome all children into the camp. We find that usually within a short period of time, children have settled in and will be busy getting stuck into the day. If your child is finding things difficult, the site manager will be able to give you a call to let you know and you are also welcome to ring our site managers for an update on how your child is getting on.
- 13We are a resilient bunch and we tend to find that even on the worst weather days there are breaks in the day which allow our outdoor activities to go ahead. If the weather doesn’t allow this, we have access to indoor space and a wide range of wet weather activities on hand should we need to use them.
- 14If you are running late for drop off, your welcome to join us as soon as you can. The site managers contact number will be accessible should the sign in desk be closed so that they can come and welcome your child. If you are running late for pick up, there is a late pick up charge of £5 for every 10 minutes which will be applied to your booking at the point of collection.
- 15
- 16All sites have a paediatric first aider on site who will be able to help. In the case of minor injuries, an incident & accident form will be completed for you and you’ll be notified at collection. For any more significant injuries, you would always be contacted. In the case of sickness, wherever possible we will try to make your child comfortable but if we feel that they need to go home we will contact you.
- 17
- 18
- 19
- 20
- 21For venues with a swimming pool, swimming will be available as an activity during the day and you will be able to see this on your chosen camps timetable. For outdoor swimming pools, swimming will only be available in warmer months. When swimming is available, you will need to give consent for your child to take part in swimming sessions when you make your booking.
- 22
- 23You will be able to share details of any medical conditions with us when you make your booking. Should we need any further information about a medical condition, our office team will be in contact. If your child has medication which they will need to take during the day, you will need to fill in a permission to administer medication form and we can then administer this for you.
- 24Our camps are inclusive and we welcome as many children as possible. In some cases, we may just need to ask a few questions to check that our camp will suit your child; if this is the case a member of the office team will give you a call to run through these quick questions. If you feel that your child will need 1:1 support, please contact our office directly on 0118 449 2641 or info@u-sports.co.uk and we will discuss the options and availability of 1:1 support for you.
- 25
- 26Please send your child in wearing weather appropriate clothing. All children must wear trainers, it is optional for children to wear football boots when football is played on 3G or grass pitches. Please send your child in with a water bottle for the day but there is no need to send any food as this will be provided for you through the HAF programme. You may wish to send your child in with a snack.
- 27If you think your child would be able to access the activities in the day with the help of 1:1 support then we ask you to get in contact with us to go through a few questions to make sure that the camp will be suitable for your child. If we think the camp will be a good fit for your child, we can then book a 1:1 coach for the day (subject to availability) at an additional cost either from yourself or through funding from the council subject to approval.
- 28
- 29The menu on offer is varied, healthy and tasty! However, we know children may have foods that they dislike. We are unable to provide alternative meals for individual children but there are a range of items included in every meal and you are also welcome to send in more food for your child if you think they might not eat the options provided.
- 30
- 31Children who are eligible for pupil premium free school meals can book a HAF space for free. HAF eligibility is confirmed by your local council so get in touch with the relevant local authority or your child's school if you are unsure if your child is eligible. If you are unsure where to go, reach out to us and we can direct you to the relevant person at each local council! If your child is not eligible for free school meals but you would like them to attend, our camps also have a paid option so there are opportunities for everyone to get involved!
- 32

- 35If you think your child would be able to access the activities in the day with the help of 1:1 support then we ask you to get in contact with us to go through a few questions to make sure that the camp will be suitable for your child. If we think the camp will be a good fit for your child, we can then book a 1:1 coach for the day (subject to availability) at an additional cost.
- 36
- 37Your child is more than welcome to bring football boots but trainers are essential. We will provide all necessary equipment for all the sports and activities your child will take part in. On football camps, children are required to bring and use shin pads. Weather appropriate clothing and items: hats, gloves, change of clothes for rainy days, suncream. Food! A packed lunch, plenty of water and a few snacks. If your child is attending through a government funded HAF space, lunch will be provided free of charge but we still recommend your provide water and snacks.
- 38Our camps go ahead in all but the absolute worst weather! At our outdoor venues, we will have gazebos on site for shelter. At our school venues, we will have access to both indoor & outdoor spaces. In the case of a day needing to be cancelled due to extreme weather, you will either be able to transfer your booking to another day or can hold your booking fee as a credit towards future bookings.

- 70Sessions are paid as a monthly subscription and are £9.50 per month. You will only pay each month for the sessions which will take place that month. For example, in August you won't pay anything and in June where you may have 4 session that month you would pay £38. You can pay for a one off trial session which will allow you to book a single session to check that your child enjoys the class! When you book a trial you will also be reserving a space for the full term.
- 71
- 72We are sorry that you are thinking of leaving us, please contact your local area via email and we may be able to offer another session if you can no longer attend your current one. If you are still sure that you would like to cancel your subscription, you just need to let us know in advance of your next payment coming out. As your subscription covers your sessions for that month, you will be able to continue attending sessions until the end of that month.
- 73
- 74Upon booking, you will continue along the uSports football pathway. The subscription will be transferable along the pathway from 2 years old and up. When moving age groups from one session type to the next, please contact your local area via email to advise which session you will be progressing to. If we do not receive a notification we will move your subscription to the nearest venue to your location.
- 75Your subscription will cover however many sessions are running in that calendar month. For example, in August you won't need to pay for any sessions during the summer holidays but during June if 4 sessions were running you would pay £36. If you join part way through a month, your first month's payment will be for all of the sessions between the date that you joined and the end of the next calendar month.
- 76
- 77You can initially book a two week trial session to see if the session is right for you. After this trial, you will then be invited to subscribe to the class. The class operates on a monthly subscription basis so you are only ever committing to one month should your circumstances change. You will be billed each month for the number of sessions which take place in that month and should you ever wish to cancel you just need to let us know before your next payment is due.

There is free parking on site but please be aware that space will be limited due to the number of teams participating so please allow plenty of time for parking.
- 83Group Stage: Teams are divided into four groups of six teams each. Each group uses a round robin format, where every team plays every other team in their group once. The winning team from the 1st place group knockout stage will be awarded the prestigious uSports Woodley Carnival Trophy for the year. Knockout Stage (Participation): Teams that finish 4th, 5th, or 6th in their group go into a separate participation knockout stage. These teams are randomly placed into groups of three. Total Matches: Each team will play a total of seven matches, assuming all 24 teams participate in the tournament.
- 84

- 89The Woodley Carnival Schools Football Tournament used to be a longstanding tradition alongside a netball tournament. Sadly, it ended in recent years. However, uSports is excited to bring it back! The tournament is run with the full support of the Woodley Carnival Committee and is directly connected to the carnival itself. You'll also find uSports as headline sponsors at the carnival on Saturday!
